Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for Site Users

We’re excited to announce the implementation of role-based access controls, ensuring that site users only access data and functionalities relevant to their specific roles.
Key Features:

• Role Definitions: Introduced predefined roles—Site Administrator, Location Coordinator, and Group Coordinator.
• Customized Access: Each role has tailored dashboards and controlled data visibility, limiting access to only the information and functionalities needed for their responsibilities.
• Enhanced Security: Improves security and compliance with data protection regulations while simplifying the user experience.

Role-Specific Access Breakdown:

• Site Administrator: Full access to site-specific data, user management, and system configurations.
• Group Coordinator: Access to group-specific data across the multiple locations they oversee.
• Location Coordinator: Access limited to data and schedules for their assigned location(s).         

Direct Slot Assignment to Schools

You can now assign slots directly to schools without requiring availability requests, streamlining slot management, reducing delays, and fostering better collaboration with schools.
Key Benefits:

• Effortless Slot Allocation: Assign slots to schools without needing them to submit a request.
• Flexible Scenarios:
  1. Allocate slots to schools with prior agreements.
  2. Approve additional slots for a school quickly and efficiently.
  3. Transfer a student to another availability by assigning a direct slot and filling in their details from the Schedules and Onboarding screen.

How to Assign Slots:

1. Go to the View and Track Availability screen and select the desired availability.
2. Navigate to the School Requests tab and click the Assign Slots button.
3. In the Direct Slots drawer, fill out the following details and click Save to assign slots
   a. Select the school.
   b. Specify the number of slots.
   c. Provide the graduation date.
   d. Set the start and end dates for the slots.
   e. Indicate the discipline and specializations.

This feature simplifies the process, giving you greater control over slot allocation while enhancing collaboration with schools.

Stay Updated with Key Student-Related Activity Notifications

We’re excited to introduce new notifications designed to keep you informed and enhance coordination between your site and schools. With these updates, you’ll receive real-time alerts for critical student-related activities, ensuring seamless communication and efficient management.
What’s New:

You’ll now be notified when:

• A student is confirmed on a schedule.
• A student begins fulfilling onboarding requirements.
• A student submits all onboarding requirements.
• A school removes a student from the schedule.
• A school replaces a student on the schedule.

These notifications help you stay up to date on essential student activities, improve collaboration with schools, and streamline the management of student placements at your site.
